Cirrus SF50 Ownership Program for Pilots

HOW IT WORKS

Sole ownership of a new Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet is out of reach for many pilots. Typically, a partnership or corporate ownership has been the only viable path to the cockpit of an SF50.

Generally, ownership structures follow two paths: Sole ownership (either personally or through a business) and partnerships.

Sole ownership is by far the most preferred option but is cost prohibitive for most pilots due to the high threshold for acquisition.

Partnerships are an excellent choice but can be fraught with potential problems if not handled correctly. Additionally, due to the high aircraft purchase price and fixed costs, multiple partners are generally required to make the costs more approachable to the average pilot owner. This is not an issue if you have a group of like minded pilots with enough money between themselves to purchase a new SF50. The reality is that this rarely (if ever) happens as expected.

bop Aero created an ownership program that gives pilots another choice, a choice that’s simple and adaptable, with costs that are realistically approachable to the average pilot owner.

In essence we’re creating a large partnership through shared ownership. The key difference is that we find the partners (or owners) and manage the entire process of ownership. From the aircraft purchase to the aircraft sale, we handle all of the aircraft management details so you can focus on the things that matter to you.

SAFETY

Cirrus aircraft are well known for the dedication to safety. The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS®) revolutionized the small aircraft market when it was introduced with the SR20. Of course CAPS is installed on the SF50 as well. However, in addition to CAPS, Cirrus built Garmin’s® SAFE RETURN™ system into the SF50, further enhancing their commitment to safety. Now non-pilot passengers can land the aircraft safely by simply pressing one button.

AIRCRAFT FEATURES

The SF50 is state of the art in every way. When it comes to the passenger experience, the SF50 features amenities common to larger private jets, with a spacious cabin, large seats, and inflight WiFi. For pilots, the SF50 features the Garmin® Perspective Touch+ Flight Deck with active weather radar. Pilots transitioning from the SR22T will feel immediately comfortable due to their commonality.

So how much will this cost?

Aircraft ownership is divided into fifteen-hundred (1500) units. One (1) unit equals one (1) Annual Hour of use. The minimum ownership position is thirty (30) units. You may purchase as many units as desired between thirty (30) and the maximum available at the time of purchase. The most logical way to determine how many units buy is by desired aircraft annual use. To help with this we’ve designed a Cost Calculator to assist you in determining not only the initial purchase price but the annual costs associated with that purchase.
